License & Usage Terms

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with our Terms of Service and this License, RiaVideos, Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Content available on the platform for your personal, non-commercial educational use, or — where applicable — for your organization's internal training under a paid team or institutional plan.

2. Permitted use

You may:

• Stream videos and view leaflets through the official RiaVideos platform and supported EMR integrations.
• As a clinician under an organizational plan, assign, print, email, or share videos and leaflets with patients at the point of care.
• As a patient, view content assigned or shared with you on any device for your personal, non-commercial use.
• Take personal notes and create private materials based on content you've viewed.
• Cite short excerpts (under 200 words) of accompanying transcripts or leaflets in academic or non-commercial work, with attribution to RiaVideos.

3. Prohibited use

You may not, and may not permit others to:

• Download, record, screen-capture, or otherwise copy video content except as expressly allowed in Section 2.
• Republish, redistribute, broadcast, or sell Content, in whole or in part.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices.
• Use Content or any output derived from Content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop machine-learning or AI systems without our prior written permission.
• Share your account credentials, or use a single account for multiple individuals (team/institutional seats are available for shared use).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

4. Intellectual property

All Content on RiaVideos — including video, audio, transcripts, leaflets, content structure, branding, software, and design elements — is owned by RiaVideos, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The "RiaVideos" name and logo are trademarks of RiaVideos, Inc. Use of our trademarks requires our prior written permission.

5. User-generated content

If you submit reviews, comments, notes, or other materials to the Service ("User Content"), you retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant RiaVideos a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and use the User Content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit the User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

6. Termination

This License remains in effect until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to access Content ends immediately, and you must stop using and delete any locally cached Content. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) survive termination.

RiaVideos is built with the help of open-source software. We're grateful to these projects and communities. Selected acknowledgements:
